HALLWAY ART
Hallway Art - is a collection of creative works by local people displayed in the hallway/foyer of the Venue. This is open for viewing Monday to Friday from 9am - 5pm
The Venue is always looking for new artists. We offer you the chance to display your artwork for free for a one month period with the possibility of extension subject to availability and discussion with Venue staff. Your artwork will not be accepted if it is offensive or inappropriate to the Venue.
Artists will be responsible for the hanging the artwork in accordance with Council's Work Place Heath and Safety guidelines. If you are unsure of these guidelines, please seek advice from Venue staff. We can provide all the necessary hanging tracks and wires for standard size artwork. The Venues Officers all care for your artwork, but cannot take responsibility for your display.
If you wish to apply for this opportunity, please complete the Artist Application Form and return to the Venue. On receipt of your completed form, a Venue Officer will contact you to arrange a suitable month to display your work and to meet with you to view your proposed pieces prior to acceptance of the contract.
Although there is no cost passed onto the artist to display pieces you may like to partake in an exhibition launch package. Please contact Venue staff for further information on 5437 1170.
